Creation
A collection of creative works by Jon-Paul Brown

My eyes watch yours.
My eyes watch you,
The ebb and flow of blue-green tide.
I sit, like a tiger, lying in wait
For the noonday to slowly pass,
And I think of the honest things to say --
To you, about you.
Your eyes are the dreams of sailors,
Of mermaids and Lost Boys.
They aren't only too big for your face,
But for me and for this world.
If you and I were to just sit,
Together,
For the rest of our time
And not say a word, without a touch,
I would miss your laugh;
I could barely live not feeling your
Warm face and hands.
But if I could only look into your eyes,
I could forever swim in your warm waters
And die knowing I truly loved you.
